Coushatta Indian Basket with lid made of pine needles and raffia. Most have been left natural color but orange is dyed. Tight weave- very clean inside and out. No tag or label but after extensive research and comparisons I think this basket is that of a Indian Craft Koasati Also known as Coushatta Indians. Elton, Louisiana. By the coloring I’m guessing it was made in the 1970s. In great vintage condition- weave is tight and clean. No discoloration or stains inside and out.
